Yes, all Alberto Balsam products are paraben free. Parabens are just one of the preservatives to keep personal care products in good condition: without them, they could be spoiled by bacteria, yeasts and molds. We choose our preservative ingredients carefully, focusing on safety and effectiveness. We use different perservatives to keep our products safe.

Yes. We increased the PCR content in our bottles (PCR stands for Post-Consumer-Recycled plastic.. aka the material has already been recycled, and hasn’t been made from scratch!), transparent bottles and caps make it possible that the plastic in the bottles and cap can be recycled and reused again and again. We also have optimized the label size to reduce waste and make recycling easier.

Yes, our formulations consist of the same ingredients that are found in higher priced shampoos which you can find in your local drugstore or supermarket.

A sensorial panel study with consumers showed that our fragrances are long-lasting and can last up 12 hours. The sensory panel assessed hair that had been washed and then dried with our products 24 hours earlier and they still rated the fragrance highly!
